Head north from Perth along the Western Australia coastline. See spectacular white beaches, the wild dolphins of Monkey Mia and the coral reef of Ningaloo. This tour is definitely one of Western Australia’s best shorter duration adventure tours with good accommodation and meals as you explore all the coastal highlights between Perth and Exmouth.

Kalbarri National Park encompasses the lower reaches of the mighty Murchison River and winds its way through spectacular red gorges to the Indian Ocean. Soak in the impressive scenery from the best vantage points the park has to offer including, Z Bend and The Loop. A visit to this park is a must for nature lovers, as you can admire the result of many millions of years of geological formation.

Monkey Mia is located within the Shark Bay Heritage Reserve. This is the location where wild Bottlenose Dolphins come to interact with people and it is important to note that the dolphins that regularly visit the bay, visit of their own free will. Locals have been feeding the dolphins here since the 1960’s and if you’re lucky, you too can feed fish to these friendly mammals.

Heading east enjoy morning tea (own expense) at historic York, the first township founded in the Avon Valley. Visit the Dog Cemetery before arriving in Hyden. You will then visit Hippo’s Yawn, a rock formation which resembles a hippo yawning. Break for a picnic lunch at the Wildflower Shop. See the spectacle of Wave Rock and the ancient Gnamma Holes. Whilst here visit either a Wildlife Park or view a unique Antique Lace Collection.

Leaving Wave Rock visit The Humps and finally Mulka’s Cave. Return to Perth via a different route and stop at the quaint country town of Babakin for afternoon tea (own expense). Arrive in Perth at approximately 8:30pm.

A fabulous tour from Perth for nature lovers, experience scenic motoring through Western Australia’s south west and a walk through the canopy of towering old growth forest.

Travelling south through the Blackwood River Valley we break at Donnybrook fruit store before continuing to the quaint historic townships of Ballingup and Bridgetown. Travel through Western Australia’s old growth forest to see the 51 meter Diamond Tree bush fire watch tower. Climb the Diamond Tree if you dare, or simply enjoy a picnic lunch or lobster lunch in a tranquil bush setting.

You will then visit the Valley of the Giants “Tree Top Walk”, a 400m long elevated walkway through the forest canopy reaching up to 40 meter above ground. On the ground walk through the Ancient Empire of wide girth Tingle Trees 5m in diameter. Visit William Bay and Denmark before returning to Perth, approximately 10.30 pm following an en route dinner stop (own expense) at Kodja Place Visitor Centre.

Discover the unique formation of Wave Rock, one of Western Australia’s most fascinating natural icons. Head south to historic Albany, the first town to be settled in WA by Europeans. See The Gap and Natural Bridge, two amazing natural features which have been carved from masses of granite over thousands of years by the many forces of nature.

A journey through the Western Australian wheatbelt to Wave Rock is combined with picturesque farm country, historic port of Albany, sightseeing along the rugged southern coastline finished off with a walk through the canopy of towering old growth forest.

Day 1: Perth to Wave Rock to Perth

Day 2: Perth to Albany

Travel southwards via the Stirling Range and Porongurup Range National Parks, before reaching historic Albany, Western Australia’s first European settlement.

Day 3: Albany to Tree Top Walk to Perth

After coastal sightseeing visiting “The Gap” and “Natural Bridge”, travel via Denmark through spectacular karri tree forests to the coastal resort town of Walpole. Here join a local guide “Gary” for a luncheon cruise on Nornalup Inlet, widely regarded as one of the last great wilderness areas. Gary will delight all with his incredible knowledge and love of this area.

Next stop is the amazing Valley of the Giants “Tree Top Walk” reaching 40m into the forest canopy. A ground level walk is available through the Ancient Empire, a remarkable pocket of Tingle Forest, wide girth trees up to 5 meters wide.

En route to Perth we stop for a light evening meal (own expense) at the Kodja Place Visitors Centre with arrival in Perth at approx. 10:30pm.

Enjoy a morning of sightseeing in the West Australian cities of Perth and Fremantle, with the option to add an afternoon Swan Valley tour and/or a scenic Swan River cruise.

This morning, tour Perth’s major attractions, starting in Perth city, the tour passes the WA Cricket Association ground at East Perth and the Venice-like harbourside development at Claisebrook. Continue past the historic Royal Mint to the beautiful Kings Park botanical gardens, while here you can walk through the tree canopies on the Tree Top Walkway giving a birdseye view of Perth’s city skyline.

Take a look at one of North West Australia’s most famous landmarks, the 750-year-old Boab Tree, similar to a tree once used as a prison. Later,  continue to one of Perth’s best beaches Cottesloe Beach before arriving at the historic port town of Fremantle. An optional diversion to the Fishing Boat Harbour and Bathers Beach shows where the first settlers landed. Back at the ‘Cappucino Strip’ time is allowed for a walk down the main street, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes or perhaps find a bargain at the markets. Tour ends here at approximately 12:30pm

Optional Extras: Swan Valley Tour – After 30 minutes of free time for lunch re-board the coach and travel to the Swan Valley.

Whilst here visit Sandalford Wines, the Margaret River Chocolate Factory and meet kangaroos and koalas at Caversham Wildlife Park. Afterwards, visit Charles Estate Wine and Nougat Boutique and enjoy an extensive wine tasting including cheese and biscuits. Whilst here you can sample the exciting varied flavors of nougat or just browse through the merchandise and gift shop. Return back to Perth via the Burswood Resort and Casino with arrival at approximately 6:00pm.

Optional Extras: Swan Valley and Swan River Cruise – From Fremantle return to Perth via Swan River cruise, re-board the coach to tour Swan Valley. Return at approximately 6:00pm

This 4WD 7-day adventure will have you enjoying Ningaloo Reef, Shark Bay, the dolphins at Monkey Mia, Coral Bay, Kalbarri and the Pinnacles. Swim, snorkel, scuba, ride a quad bike or take a boat cruise. The tour is accommodated on sheep stations, farms and country lodges.

260-kilometre-long Ningaloo Reef offers world class diving through to family snorkeling in sheltered lagoons crammed with coral gardens. Ningaloo is the largest fringing coral reef in Australia. It is the only large reef in the world found so close to a continental land mass; about 100 metres offshore at its nearest point and less than seven kilometers at its furthest. The park covers more than 4000 square kilometers and was declared in 1987.

Accommodation: Accommodation is mostly situated on farms, stations and country hostels. Room configurations vary from 2 to 10 bed bunkhouse rooms with shared toilet and shower facilities. If you don’t have your own sleeping bag, one can be purchased for approximately AUD$40.00 per person

Meals: Fresh food is prepared where possible, we endeavor to provide a healthy and varied menu. Breakfast is continental style, including toast, cereals, tea and coffee and fruit juice. Lunch is picnic style, including cold meats, salad or sandwiches and fruit. Dinner includes hot main meals and dessert.

Vehicles: Tours are conducted in custom built 4×4 vehicles and rugged safari coaches. The vehicles range in size from 5 to 16 seats, with forward facing seats, air conditioning, stereo and PA systems, two way radios and satellite phones ensuring a comfortable tour with medical assistance in remote areas.

Glass Bottom Boat Ecology Cruise: View the delicate coral gardens and many colorful fish from the glass bottom boat or take the plunge and snorkel with turtles, giant cod, giant clams and exotic reef fish.

ATV Quad Bikes: A leisurely, fully escorted ride on all terrain bikes, your guide will take you riding on secluded beaches for some snorkeling. Equipment supplied.

Ningaloo Reef Dive: Experience the rich marine life and encounter tropical reef fish, dolphins, turtles, dugongs and manta rays. All dives supervised by either a Dive Master or Instructor. There is an option to go out and snorkel only for this 4hrs, however the water is deep.

Ningaloo Kayak and Snooba Adventure: Snooba Dive (40mins) on the outer reef. All equipment and wetsuits supplied. Kayak Adventure (2 hour), snorkel equipment and wetsuits supplied. Photographs are taken of you which you can then purchase on CD for an additional cost.
